fabric first opened on 21st October 1999; though it started as an idea many years prior to that. The building alone took over three years to convert but the club now stands proudly in the renovated space of the Metropolitan Cold Stores in Farringdon, London.
Simply put, fabric was conceived by people that go to clubs, for people that go to clubs. The club has three separate rooms (two of which feature stages for live acts) which each have their own independent sound systems.
Aside from the unisex toilets, a unique feature of the club is the vibrating floor in Room One. Known as a "bodysonic" dancefloor, sections of the floors are attached to 450 bass transducers which emit bass frequencies, allowing clubbers to feel the music through the low end frequencies transmitted into their skeletons via their feet.
In 2016, a bespoke Pioneer Pro Audio sound system was added to Room Two. The system comprises 28 speakers from the XY Series, including 10 XY-218S twin 18-inch subwoofers 4 x XY152 and 12 XY-122 12-inch full-range speakers. Powersoft amplifiers with AES digital connections drive the entire system. The DJ booth has 4 x XY122 full range speakers with 2 x 118s Subs.
The club occupies a total area of 25,000 square feet.

WetYourSelf
Sunday nights (and consequently Monday mornings) in London have been irrevocably changed since September 2007, thanks to the notorious, unstoppable WetYourSelf! crew formed of Peter Pixzel and Jacob Husley, and formerly Cormac.
Named in relation to the former Club Aquariam venue that hosted their nights, a Shoreditch club equipped with its own swimming pool, WYS! are fuelled by their joint desire to bring serious dancefloor hedonism to Sunday nights. Presenting quality music in an unpretentious way, they began hosting Sunday nights here at fabric in February 2009. Since then, a staggering list of guests including Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, DJ Hell, Gaiser, Italoboyz, Marc Houle, Miss Kittin, Roman Flügel and many more. Known for their cult following in the capital, WYS! have also been avid supporters of Romania’s fertile minimal scene, with names like Barac, Cally and Priku all appearing alongside local London talents.
