Il progetto musicale è, ad oggi, condotto da 3 ragazzi napoletani : Gianluca Viscovo - Luciano FM - Paul Kenny. Nel 2010, anno di inizio del gruppo, in cui militava anche Roberto Formisano, nasce la prima traccia AFRI CAN, influenzata da elementi Afro, miscelata con sonorità Deep House e caratterizzata da un campione di un famoso discorso di Nelson Mandela. La traccia riunisce i gusti musicali dei componenti del progetto, unitamente a due versioni remix di Lost-Rocket alias Carmine Arena, produttore e dj napoletano, e di Martin Dawson conosciuto anche come King Roc, uscita su etichetta Do2night rec. Luciano Fotios Meletopoulos, aka Luciano FM, cultore dell’house old school e disco funk, attuale componente del duo Big Love Brothers, resident dell’Arenile Reload di Napoli che vede impegnato anche il quarto elemento di Bhoo, ovvero Gianluca Viscovo, esperto di Funk Soul e Electro anni ottanta, aggiunge un forte elemento classico che si sposa perfettamente al gusto funk del suo collega di console. Luciano Fotios Meletopoulos Summer of 1992, with his cousin, DJ of the Hellenic capital, in his “garage” he places the Concorde on a record, the experience that will mark his future musical emotions. He starts playing, as warm up in the summer clubs in Athens, all genres and especially HOUSE, that music today called “old school”. His dream cames true when he performs next to Kerri Chandler. At the moment he plays in different Neapolitan clubs also with his console-mate Gianluca Viscovo, under the name of BIG LOVE BROTHER, resident at Arenile Club (NoiAre/Reload/Drop/Solarium). Gianluca Viscovo The constantly and deeply knowledge about the different genres thrugh his older brothers, changes his DNA. His independent trip into the world of sound starts from the break dance and Italodisco , and continues with Funk music (pure, simple and black) of the golden years. He passes by the House of the first clubs getting to AcidJazz. In 1997 his musical baggage opens up on the best club console’s , alongside internationally renowned DJs, creating DJset on different styles mostly impressing the expert audiences. He cooperated with the Italian duo of the Jeko project and he is now Art Director of the group UCLUB. Paul Kenny He loved music since his childhood when he started to play different musical instruments, mostly guitar and keyboard. Through the years he discovers his real passion for entertaining music, basically for the “house club” style , at that time in fashion in the clubs. He starts to deepen this genre, at the beginning working as music selector for some DJs of Neapolitan consoles. Then, driven by the desire of making of the music a real use, he starts to play with the first audio creation software, and plays his first records. From Riccione to Napoli, passing by Rome and Glasgow, his musical life takes place all around Europe. Today he plays in the best Neapolitan , Italian and European consoles. Sugestionado por elementos Afro abundantemente mezclados a la sonoridad Deep House,el primer nacido en casa BHOO es Afri Can,pista musical contenido un campeòn de un famoso discurso de Nelson Mandela. La pista junta los gustos musicales de los componentes del proyecto,combinado con dos versiones remix de Lost-Rocket alias Carmine Arena,productor y dj napolitano,y de Martin Dawson conocido como King Roc. Roberto Formisano,uno de los componentes,ya productor bajo el sèudonimo Gastek Inminimal Project y mago de la Deep House napolitana contribuye con su estilo profundo y suave a esto primer trabajo,también,y no sòlo con una òptima version vocal Paolo Canale en arte Paul kenny el màs joven del grupo,él también es nacido a la sombra del vesubio mas crecido entre usted y la costa de RomaNa,dj de las caracterìsticas musicales fuertemente tech-house y entonces muy modernos,dona una huella verdaderamente electrònica. To this day the musical project is developed by three Napolitan guys :Paul Kenny - Gianluca Viscovo – Luciano Fm In 2010, the group was created together with another member Roberto Formisano and the first track “AFRICAN” was born. It’s a track influenced by afro elements , mixed with Deep sonority and composed by a famous Nelson Mandela speech sample. AFRICAN , labeled by Do2night rec, puts together the musical tastes of the project members, together with two remixed versions created by “Lost Rocket” alias Carmine Arena , a Napolitan producers and dj, and Martin Dawson , also known as “King Roc”. The second track was born in cooperation with a Napolitan house milestone , Vincenzo Cipolletta. Together with him they produce “ APP “ , with Emanuele Esposito’s label BSide. “APP” has been remixed in two versions , one of which was played by Marco Carola at Barcelona Sonar ( link) , the other one elaborated by UGUR project. Together with Vincenzo Cipolletta ( also known as YNM) the Bhoo produced the third release “Cloud Seeding” with the Abstract Theory label. This track also owns an amazing remix of Sasse, which reveal itself an appreciated success that is played by some of the most famous international deejays as MaYa Coles, Shlomi Aber, Patrik Zigon, Tony Dee, Himan and others . This success is followed by other remixes as “ Tra la luna e la Terra” (Quaunticman rec.) , “Kalimba de luna”, “Never in the middle” ( for the duo “Self Prod”) For the label Four Finger Hand ( whom owner is the producer, dj and friend Ciro Leone) they elaborate “ Flower Dust “; The label Swink ltd rec produces “ Answering items” , presented at the 2012 WMC. Together with Lost Rocket they create the track “Butterfly” , produced by Pop Art label. Elastik Phone is the last track produced by Bhoo , with Roberto Formisano, ( as matter of fact the latter will leave the group ). The track is produced by Underbelly records label, both in digital and vinyl format. Also thank ‘ s to Alex Arnout ( Dogmatic boss) , Matt Tolfrey & Sam Russo ( Leftroom) remixes , the track has gained a huge success and was presented by the label on the occasion of the exclusive party at the 2012 WMC . The tree components carry on the Bhoo project with “Donde està el gris” , produced by Klever Records label, together with the collaboration of Mattew Oh, Salvo Carel and Ciro Leone , in particular his remix is introduced into the various artist of the Keep on. The next track is “Take me to the club” , produced by the Re:Axis dj’s Monocline Lab label. The latter is also the creator of this track remix. At the present time the Bhoo are dj resident of the “DROP” events which take place at Arenile Reload ( Naples) ,there they worked with M.A.N.D.Y.,Nina Kravitz,Osunlade,Satoshi Tomiie,Riva Starr,DjSneak,Steve Bug,Felix da Housecat and others. Paolo Canale aka Paul Kenny is the youngest of the group, he was born under the shade of Vesuvio but grown between his native city and Emilia-Romagna Riviera, he gives a tech-house and electronic contribute to the bhoo’s project. Luciano Fotios Meletopoulos, aka Luciano FM has greek origin. He belongs to the old house school and he is also a disco Funk connoisseur and currently component of the Big Love Brothers duo together with Gianluca Viscovo, both dj resident at Arenile Reload. The third component, Gianluca Viscovo, is skilled in Funk Soul and 80’s Electro.
